VACON®20 Cold Plate/VACON-DANFOSS/Variable Drive Frecuency

Heat loss from drives can often affect neighboring machinery, especially for compact drives that are mounted in tight spaces with insufficient airflow. Thanks to the unique cooling system of the VACON® 20 Cold Plate, heat loss can be reduced in two ways. Connect the drive to a heatsink with large cooling ribs to create a fully passively cooled drive or mount the drive on a liquid-cooled board. With no heat fins available, the VACON® 20 Cold Plate requires less mounting depth. It fits in the tightest places, saving space and expenses related to the size of the panel.

The cabinets can be sealed, making the VACON® 20 Cold Plate ideal for very aggressive and demanding environments with high temperatures, dust or humidity. It is compatible with asynchronous induction motors and permanent magnet synchronous motors. In addition, the integrated PLC function allows the creation of application-specific software and solutions.
